i took down the tunes of mine that were posted here.

architects don't let people into buildings when the construction is not complete. chefs don't serve food that hasn't finished cooking. you can no longer listen to songs i haven't finished writing.

i do have a mix for your ear hoels though.

i had much fun assembling and recording these tunes. naturally there are some bits that i'm not entirely please with, but on the whole, i thoroughly enjoy this compilation. i don't know how to categorize it. i'd say it's mostly bassline house. if i knew what fidgit house was, i'd likely say there's some of that in here too. i like that dj zinc applied the term crack house to some of his tunes. it seems appropriate.

if i was forced to label this mix, i'd call it halfway house. if i were french i'd call it maison derriere. that means back house.

one more dookie i crapped. is dubstep beat? zipzapzorp and bad media on the pre-work before the rework on this one. it's too bad things happened the way they did.

i need to stop learning lessons the hard way. my mother told me the iron was hot. i still touched it.

something told me a cease and desist order was a waste of time. eventually that was my conclusion. it's tough to help build a house and watch someone set fire to it. instead of watching it burn, i'll build a new one.

San Francisco dj/producer Peter Gorman (aka PSYCH TYSON, aka DJSPACER, aka PREEP) has more than a decade of history in SF bass music, from DNB, 2step and breaks, to Dubstep, bassline and UK funky. As DJ SPACER, he played dnb, hiphop, 2step and breaks, and was responsible for the iconic series of proto-dubstep underground parties called DUBFARM. As PREEP, he was 1/3 of the luminary dubstep dj/production trio called BLACKHEART, whose releases can be found on BRAP DEM, FULLMELT, FILTHY DIGITAL, BASSISM and MALLABEL. His current incarnation, PSYCH TYSON, finds him producing and playing bassline and uk funky, which he showcases at San Francisco's premier bassline and dubstep party FIXUP (which he co-runs with his wife, photographer Kelly Koehler).
